Julie Corbett is the mother of 7-year-old identical twin girls and a 5-year-old son. After earning her B.A. in Psychology from UCSC, Julie spent several years working with children with behavior disorders, especially ADD and ADHD. She later earned her Teaching Credential (for Multiple Subjects, with a Supplementary Authorization in Music) from Mills College, and taught elementary school for several years before the birth of her twins. Julie has a natural talent for music and enjoys incorporating musical themes into her work with children. She has taken American Sign Language (ASL) courses and has practical knowledge of Baby Signs having taught her children to sign when they were babies. Julie found that signing with her children was so beneficial to her and her family that she is eager to spread the word about the benefits of signing to other moms. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and is an active member of several local mothers' clubs.
